In memory of Mr Richard Sheppard who was a strong Aboriginal leader
and advocate for Indigenous education in the Armadale area.
In recognition of the Armadale Year 11 and 12 students that are attending
school and working towards completing their education, the city of
Armadale hold an awards ceremony presenting these outstanding students
with a certificate to acknowledge their hard work and achievements.
The ceremony includes a lunch and presentation from the City of Armadale
Mayor Linton Reynolds and performance by the Wadumbah Dance Group.
This is an annual official event and is on invite only.
